I bought the largest size for my mastiff and it's working out very well. The quality is nice, the design makes sense and it was relatively affordable. Since my dog is not destructive this will probably be the only bed she'll ever need. She's been sleeping quite comfortably on it too, instead of on my sofas!
We have a cranky 11 year old potbelly pig who lives indoors and this is his FAVORITE bed ever. He does go through covers annually, because he LOVES creating a little hole for his snout, which becomes a bigger hole for his head, and then his whole pork belly until it just gets discarded. The covers are SUPER easy to take off and wash and the waterproof lining is no slouch, either.
Even at 36 inches long and 150 lbs, he fits comfortably and will seek out these beds over every other one we've purchased, and even after supporting 150 lbs for over a year, they fluff right back up.
We've been getting these beds for 5ish years now and the ONLY mattress we've had to retire was when I took the cover off to wash it and he was left unattended for a couple of hours and managed to root open the cover and nestle on into the shredded foam. He still has not truly forgiven me for cleaning that up and taking away the best nap spot of his life.
In conclusion, if you have a large, dense animal that is prone to destruction, buy them this bed. I suppose if you have a small animal with very sharp teeth, I have no guidance for you (snouts are just very strong, so I can't speak to how these would hold up to puncturing, only ripping).

My dog was hesitant at first to get on this dog bed but once she did, it became her go to bed.
