We have enjoyed these dog beds for years, recently bought two more with new covers for the new dog. So far the old covers have held up and not ripped either.
I had a 4" foam base from a prior-chewed bed. This replacement fits it perfectly, and the grey suede feel is popular with the dogs! Would buy again

Going to start by saying wow! We bought this bed FIFTEEN years ago for our 3-legged Great Dane. He passed 11 years ago and then our 3 year old granddaughter used it as a temporary bed for a year and now, our little Pitty pictured here, has been using it for the last 10 years. I checked the bed before ordering the cover to see if we needed the waterproof liner too, and we did not! It is still completely intact AND the foam is still just as comfortable as the day we got it. Also, the bed has stayed outside through rain and shine for the last 10 years, (because we have smaller beds in the house for the smaller dog), but it is her favorite spot to lay outside. It has outlasted at least a dozen other dog beds. With the replacement cover on it, it's just like the day we bought it. The quality is most impressive!
Best one for my boy that likes to dig like a maniac before he settles down to lay down. Durable so not to tear from the claws.
